                      Greetings Fellow Hams!

This Friday May 15th 9:30 am

WE WON!
The Consumer Protection and Public Affairs committee voted UNANIMOUSLY
to amend HB-2377 with Amendment 12 (which is very close to my amendment
8) today. It will be referred to the Senate floor as amended.
OUR SYSTEM WORKS!

Watch and see what happens now. There are several possibilities. It may
go through the Senate and pass, then get referred back to the House for
a concordance vote, then pass, then off toe Governor K. Who WILL sign
it.

Things could still go South but it is late in the session and if it
does not pass now, it will probably get killed until next year.

THANK YOU to all the Hams to called and wrote. OUR SYSTEM WORKS! I will make available a copy of the video when I get it. You may be amused to know that Senator Bonamici asked how many Hams were in Oregon, then once we told her, she said "I think my office staff has heard from most of them."
