Last night, June 6, Bill Riley W7EXB gave a wonderful account of the early days of ham radio in Eugene.  What a legacy, and gift for those members to have given us such a great club!

Matt W7ARD will teach another Technician class, starting June 19 and ending on August 7, on Thursday evenings from 7 to 9 PM at the Red Cross, 862 Bethel Dr., Eugene.  The Ham Radio License Manual is available from Matt or Norvac Electronics for $25.00.  There is no cost for the class.  Students should download supplemental info about the book at www.arrl.org/hrlm.  Please contact Matt via email or 689-0640 to sign-up.

**Rudy N6LF presented his findings on "some recent experiments and insights on ground systems for verticals."  You can view his PowerPoint program here (using MS PowerPoint or Viewer)**

Our April 4th meeting celebrated Wil K0ECA's 100th birthday!  Please enjoy these photos.  Many thanks to Dale W7LK for his efforts

On Nov. 11, 2007, a group assembled in the W7PXL shack to kickoff our club's 75th ARRL affiliation anniversary.  A log page full of contacts was made!
