Welcome to our web site. The Valley Radio Club of Oregon (formerly Valley Radio Club of Eugene), located in Eugene, Oregon, was chartered in 1932, and is one of the oldest, continuously operated club stations in the United States. It has been affiliated with the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) since 1932, and associated with the American Red Cross since 1951. Special events are planned for our 75th Birthday of Valley Radio Club of Oregon in 2007. Visit our website for further information. |

Last night, June 6, Bill Riley W7EXB gave a wonderful account of the early days of ham radio in Eugene. What a legacy, and gift for those members to have given us such a great club!
Matt W7ARD will teach another Technician class, starting June 19 and ending on August 7, on Thursday evenings from 7 to 9 PM at the Red Cross, 862 Bethel Dr., Eugene. The Ham Radio License Manual is available from Matt or Norvac Electronics for $25.00. There is no cost for the class. Students should download supplemental info about the book at www.arrl.org/hrlm. Please contact Matt via email or 689-0640 to sign-up.
