I'll probably be able to make the field day, FWIW. Hopefully, it won't be too far away, however. Maybe someone can tell me what I have to do to prepare for it or help out.

73,

Les

Thought I would say hello to the club and hope to be back on air soon with a new QUAD in the air on 20M(Pfeiffer Quad that is).

Hi,
Just checking in. I've been to a few meetings in the past but not for a long while. It's hard for me to get there on the first Fridays.
I'm interested in QRP work, including home brew for same.
I was first a ham as a novice, in about 1966, WN7FHF. Later, I became a tech, with N7XCW. I went off the air for years until getting my general ticket back a few years ago thanks to the help from this club. Now I'm KE7SLX. I figure I'll buy one of those vanity call signs just so I can spit it out faster during contests and such. I really, really want to get back into CW; I'm still good for about 8 WPM or so after 25 years off the air though.
73,
Les

Thank you for your site , I have wanted to get my HAM license for a long time & am finally starting the process . I really enjoyed " playin w the Commo equipment " in the Army . ( back in the mid 80s ) . I look foreword to meeting you fine folks at a meeting soon . By the way , any advice or input to save time & $$ in this process would be appreciated .

Of course I like your web site, however you have to test the spelling on quite a few of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very troublesome to tell you. However I’ll certainly come again again!

I think other site proprietors should take this site as an model - very clean and excellent style and design, not to mention the content. You're an expert in this topic!
